Meet Board Member Catherine Tootle!
Catherine is a woman in long-term recovery meaning it has been 5 years since she has used alcohol and illicit drugs to change the way she copes with life. She is originally from Cedar Crossing, Georgia, but relocated to Statesboro to attend a long-term treatment program for substance use and to regain custody of her daughter, Marley. After doing so, she married Clint Tootle of Statesboro, who is also a person in recovery. Catherine is now the Executive Director of Freedom Through Recovery, The Susan Ford Recovery Community Organization in Statesboro and has a fiery passion to help people find their pathway to recovery. She knows the serenity that comes from taking care of her own mental health and wants to help create a path through The Camilla Foundation for our youth to experience the hope that she has found.
