Meet Board Members Jennifer and Scott Bohlke!
Jennifer, a former labor and delivery nurse, met her husband Dr. Scott Bohlke while completing his residency at Columbus Regional Medical Center in Columbus, GA. In 1999, the Bohlkes relocated to the Brooklet area where Scott joined and later purchased Bohler Family Practice – the oldest family practice in Bulloch County. The Bohlkes have four adult children and a wonderful daughter-in-law (all of whom are proud GSU Eagles).
Since their arrival in this area over 23 years ago, Jennifer and Scott have worked together by advocating for quality health care for the residents of Bulloch County. Both graduates of the Georgia Physicians Leadership Academy, Jennifer and Scott helped to form the Hearts and Hands Clinic, Inc. – a local non-profit focused on providing free primary care to citizens of Bulloch County who are at or below the federal poverty level and are medically uninsured. Jennifer proudly served on the clinic’s executive board, and Scott served as Medical Director. Together, they also served as board members of the United Way of Southeast Georgia and remain active in several other community service organizations.
Jennifer and Scott are excited to join the Camilla Foundation and recognize that access to quality mental health care for children is crucial for a happy and healthy community.
