Meet Board Member Ty White, LPC, MAC, CPCS!
Ms. Ty is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Masters Addiction Counselor, Perinatal Mood Disorders Advocate as well as Nationally Certified Counselor. She’s CoOwner of Refocus Counseling and Consulting Services LLC. located in Statesboro,Georgia. She has worked within the counseling field for over 12 years and overtime has developed a strong passion for counseling and a strong passion for empowering girls and women.
Ty completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Georgia Southern University and then her Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from South University.
Ty has practiced in a variety of inpatient, outpatient and higher education settings since 2009. She uses a variety of modalities which incorporate best practices from Cognitive Behavioral, Solution Focused, Reality Therapy and Short-term Problem Solving.

She’s a board member of The Pink Huddle Inc., which is a nonprofit that teaches girls basic life skills. She’s a Columnist in the Statesboro Moments Magazine who loves sharing motivational stories for women across southeast Georgia. She’s also the Founder and CEO of a 501c3 nonprofit Refocus Together Inc. developed to help motivate women to become their best selves despite difficult life situations.
In her spare time, she loves spending time with her two daughters and her immediate family and friends.
